MPAthy cultivates ocean stewardship though ocean literacy, preservation and revival of cultural practices that are upstream circular economy practices. It brings experiential learning to coastal youth in Tamil Nadu, India to equip them to become change agents to combat marine plastic pollution.

Through ocean literacy and revival of cultural upstream circular economy practises of waste prevention and minimization through the mobile circular economy lab, MPAthy centres human-ocean connection and empathy to empower young people to become change agents to beat marine plastic pollution.
