The SeaVoice Annual is Out Now – Launched on World Ocean Day
The SeaVoice Annual: Issue 01 officially launched on June 8th, World Ocean Day. This global event, dedicated to celebrating and protecting our oceans, provided the perfect occasion for the debut of SeaVoice’s first annual publication. As a CHFP initiative, SeaVoice serves as a platform to highlight marine cultural heritage initiatives and showcase the incredible work being done across CHFP’s network. This inaugural Annual features a selection of these projects with plans to share even more in future editions.
Not only is the SeaVoice Annual visually captivating, but it is also bound in eco-friendly seaweed paper, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and ocean conservation. The book is further distinguished by a foreword from ocean legends Sylvia Earle and Dona Bertarelli, adding a special touch to this milestone edition.
The SeaVoice Annual was celebrated at the Immersed in Change Conference in Costa Rica and the Ocean Literacy World Conference in Venice. At both events, CHFP connected with global ocean leaders and advocates, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response to the Annual’s compelling storytelling and eco-conscious design.
Through SeaVoice, CHFP remains committed to amplifying the voices of activists, photographers, and researchers dedicated to ocean conservation and increasing the visibility of marine cultural heritage in a sustainable ocean.
